Frequently Asked Question
General Question
Can I trade news?
No. News trading is prohibited. You may not open or execute trades within 5 minutes before or 5 minutes after major economic news releases, central bank announcements, geopolitical events, or other high-impact events that can cause unusual market volatility.
Is overnight and weekend holding allowed?
Overnight holding is allowed. Weekend holding is not allowed.
Can I hedge positions or trade across multiple accounts?
No. Any form of manipulative or coordinated trading is prohibited. This includes trading between related accounts, account hedging, account arbitrage, copying trades across multiple accounts, or using multiple accounts to circumvent the rules.
Can someone else trade on my account?
No. Your account is for your personal use only. You must trade the account yourself and cannot allow anyone else to access, manage, or trade on your behalf. You are also not allowed to manage other users’ accounts, provide trading signals, or offer/use copytrading services within the Program
What is the maximum allocation of account size per person?
There is no limit on the number of challenge accounts a trader can purchase. For funded accounts, the maximum allocation per trader is $400,000.
Can I use automated tools, bots, algorithms, or third-party trading systems in the Program?
No. The use of any software, scripts, algorithms, AI tools, high-frequency techniques, automated trading systems, mass-order strategies, or third-party/off-the-shelf solutions is strictly prohibited if they are used to manipulate the system, bypass the rules, or gain an unfair advantage. This includes strategies marketed as designed to pass challenges or assessment accounts.
Can I use delayed quotes or slow data feeds for trading?
The use of pricing errors, delayed price feeds, system malfunctions, or non-public/insider information is strictly prohibited, whether done knowingly or unknowingly
What is the Instant Funding consistency rule?
20% Consistency Rule No single trading day may account for more than 20% of your total profits. This rule is checked when requesting a payout and is designed to encourage consistent trading performance. How is it calculated? Consistency % = (Highest Single Day Profit / Total Profit) × 100 Example: Your best single trading day generated $5,000 in profit, and your total account profit so far is $20,000. Consistency Score = ($5,000 / $20,000) × 100% = 25% Since 25% exceeds the 20% threshold, you cannot request a payout yet. You need to earn an additional $5,000 in profit (bringing the total to $25,000), so that your best day ($5,000) represents exactly 20% of total profits.
How does the Max Overall Loss rule work?
Max Overall Loss is the maximum total drawdown allowed on your account. If your equity drops to or below the threshold at any point, including on open positions, your account will be failed. Challenge Accounts The threshold is fixed from the start and never changes, regardless of any profits made. It is calculated once from your initial balance. For example, on a $10,000 account with a 10% Max Loss, your limit is always $9,000. Instant Funding Accounts The loss limit is trailing until the initial balance - it moves up as your equity grows. However, it will never exceed your starting balance, meaning once it reaches that level, your initial capital is fully protected. For example, on a $10,000 account with a 5% Max Loss (absolute loss = $500): Scenario A — your equity grows modestly Your equity reaches $10,300. The trailing floor is $10,300 − $500 = $9,800. Since $9,800 is below your starting balance, the floor stays at $9,800 - the mechanism behaves like a standard trailing drawdown. Scenario B — your equity drops without any prior profit Your equity falls immediately to $9,600. The floor stays at $9,500 (initial balance − 5%), unchanged. The mechanism behaves like a fixed limit until you make a profit
When can I request a payout?
It depends on your account type: - Two-Step - every 5 days. - One-Step - every 5 days. - Instant Funding - every 7 days.
